I hope you are doing well. Last week was Black Maternal Health Week. In honor of this week, I wanted to bring additional awareness to the unacceptable statistics in regards to Black Maternal Health. Black women in the U.S. are 3-4 times more likely to die of childbirth related causes than White women. Depending on where you live, those numbers are even higher.
Please take a moment to consider writing your local representative to support the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act or donate to the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.
